Wholehearted Living After Loss
A six-session educational & experiential series on grief, loss & transition

ThereAs human beings, none of us escapes the ravages of grief, loss, and transition in all of their myriad forms. Whether we have experienced the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, a broken relationship through betrayal or divorce, letting go of a beloved companion animal, geographical relocation, or any other life change, navigating our lives during such times poses profound challenges as well as opportunities for growth. In this experiential/educational six-session series we will learn ways that our creativity and resiliency have the potential to assist us as we move forward in our lives and learn to live wholeheartedly after loss. We will work with gentle creative processes to support us in our journeys with grief. Our small circle will be a safe space for sharing our stories of change, loss and transition, whether from death of a loved one, or any other major life change or transition.
Session 1: Exploring Our Beliefs About Grief
We will look at personal and societal ideas about what grief “should” look like, and will share our experiences of expectations around grief that we have placed on ourselves, or others have placed on us.
Session 2: The Ripples of Loss
Loss affects different spheres and aspects of our lives. We will spend time exploring these different layers and their ripple effect as we navigate through grief’s terrain.
Session 3: Unanswerable Questions
Often after a loss we feel weighed down with a cache of unanswerable questions. In this session we will shift the energy of these questions so that we can move forward with more freedom and lightness of being.
Session 4: Bridging the Gaps
How do we bridge the gaps between who we were before our loss, and who we are now? How do we bridge the gaps between who/where we are now and where we want to be as we move forward with our lives?
Session 5: Re-membering
In this session we will discuss the concepts of “closure” vs. experiencing a continuing bond with what we have lost. Creative exercises will allow us to gently explore these continuing bonds.
Session 6: Embracing Wholehearted Living After Loss
We will share what we have learned about loss and grief during this series , and will create a personal resiliency toolkit to support our continuing journeys.
Each session is approximately 90 minutes in length.
Cost: $180.00 for the series of 6 sessions, includes an optional individual session with Yvonne

Please note: Grief is the natural human response to loss. These sessions are not psychotherapy, nor are they intended to be a substitute for those needing the help of a licensed professional mental health counselor. The work we do will facilitate the cultivation of our inborn creativity and resiliency as we journey with loss.
